The First on Deck Marketing team wanted to take a quick break from our work and travels to update you on what’s happening behind the scenes. In addition to gearing up for boat show season and delivering on projects for clients in the Marine Industry, we asked our team what they love the most about summer, and what each is looking forward to.

“I truly enjoy summers on the beach in South Florida, as it is dreamy. Walking along the sand with my feet in the water while viewing the beautiful scenery is like a restart button for me. Long hot days, getting tan, enjoying the waves is it for me!”

“Summer is family time and the chance for travel. It’s that moment when I try to put the calendar aside and when I’m not tracking my schedule and time like the rest of the year. Seeing old friends, and whenever possible, new places, is what summer is about for me. It’s when I get to become the grill master!”

Carlos is currently traveling with family, so we’ll let him enjoy his journey. Carlos enjoys spending time with family and has a close relationship with his siblings. Carlos also spends a lot of time, even his “spare” time, perfecting his videography skills and making films. Carlos is a filmmaker, videographer, and Founder of Phoenx 27 LLC.

“My favorite part about summer is having a local beer (wherever I may be at the time) in my hand and toes in the water. I recently visited Gulf Shores, Alabama with my family and had a blast. I enjoyed a few beers at Big Beach Brewery, and we searched for shells. We also survived our first jellyfish stings. It was quite the week.”
